So, I deleted the old picasastarter, and downloaded a fresh version. I have lost all my databases while trying different settings. Picasa has window to visually geotag your photo. Now I realize that whatever database I chose in picasa, I seem to be editing the same settings. The problem with Picasa : it’s discontinued, while other Google components and Windows are keep updated, so two majors issues happened. I didn't think much of it and I corrected the NAS one. I can't pin point the dates, but recently, I noticed that the folders were not correctly chosen. I have tried to uninstall and to remove all Picasa files, but after a reinstall I have the same problem. I had this working setup for a long time now (now I have doubts that it ever worked, but, I am pretty sure it did in the past). I had Picasa 3.9 working well with Precise Pangolin 12.04 yesterday but now I tried to use the Maps feature. I maintain a database on a NAS at home, so that I can use it from multiple computers. Have acquired a K-5IIs and shooting in RAW (Adobe DNG) or Pentax PEF and then go to view the images in Picasa (latest version 3.9) there is. This forum is calm, so it is probably my problem. Some folks are distressed that, in version 3.9, Picasa Web Albums seems to be going away and in it’s place is Google Plus.
